Role Overview

As part of the Managed Cloud Optimization (MCO) team, you will work on reliability, scalability, and automation of cloud systems. This role includes incident response, designing resilient workloads, and collaborating with Google Cloud engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain uptime through monitoring, alerting, and automation.

  • Design and build scalable cloud systems with SRE/DevOps practices.

  • Implement SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for reliability.

  • Troubleshoot issues in infrastructure, networking, and applications.

  • Use Google Cloud tools: GKE, Anthos, BigQuery, and Data Pipelines.

  • Improve documentation and operational processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in cloud/infrastructure (Linux, Windows, Kubernetes, networking).

  • 2+ years of hands-on Google Cloud experience (certifications preferred).

  • Programming skills in Python (other languages a plus).

  • Strong experience with Terraform.

  • Knowledge of monitoring, incident response, and on-call support.

  • Understanding of reliability practices (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs).

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
