Role Overview

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will work with experienced teams to design, automate, and maintain modern DevOps pipelines and cloud-based applications. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates who are motivated to grow in DevOps, cloud engineering, and automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Support automation of CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.

• Assist in managing deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS EKS, and Google GKE.

• Provide support for containerized applications using Docker.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cloud engineers, software developers, and cybersecurity specialists.

• Troubleshoot basic issues in Linux and Windows environments.

• Contribute to documentation and DevOps process improvements.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud computing, or software engineering.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

• Basic knowledge of Linux, Windows, and shell scripting.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for security clearance eligibility).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

• Understanding of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).

• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe Agile).

• Knowledge of cloud security and cybersecurity practices.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: $55,250 – $99,875 (based on experience and qualifications).
