About the Role:
Finacplus is seeking an enthusiastic DevOps Intern (SRE/Infrastructure) to join our growing technology team in Bangalore. This internship is ideal for learners passionate about cloud computing, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable infrastructure management. You’ll gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in a real-world production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and GCP.
• Assist in automating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, and Git.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Create and manage Grafana dashboards and leverage Prometheus for system monitoring and performance optimization.
• Apply best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC), system observability, and incident response.
• Participate in sprint planning, brainstorm improvements, and optimize DevOps workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong interest in DevOps, SRE, and automation engineering.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Hands-on exposure to Kubernetes configuration and administration.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Awareness of Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
